Albums to pass on

I have been sorting through some of my lovely little albums this weekend...its nearly time for children to return to school and I always feel the need to move some of my albums on at this time of year....... my son is older now and although I'm scrapbooking his cheeky lads holiday snaps as a surprise I no longer have the sweet holiday memories and the school milestones to keepsake...instead I find myself browsing through old scrapbooks and his All about Me albums I've created over the years....it brings some sweet thoughts and feelings and is one of the reasons why I love the scrapbooking process so much....It has also been a process by which I've supported his progress and change throughout the years and the albums have been a way of affirming and acknowledging precious simple moments, aspects of his personality, character and his friendships and encapsulating love, quirky observations and I could go on .....I've also loved creating these albums for others I'm putting a big thankyou out there and offering a giveaway of a boys or girls album to the first two people commenting n this post.Please comment and give me an email to contact you on and then I will post an album to you as soon as possible ........big thankyou's out there xxxxxxxxx

Some little handmade journals

I completed these at the weekend ....the A4 gorguss notebooks are simple and hand stitched I hope to put them on ebay and offer to personalise them with name or a title for purchasers....my scrumptious altered canvas hand stitched journals will go in my Etsy shop after a few finishing touches....i plan to add some small beads....

A real pleasure creating some named albums for my buddy Julia as her daughter embarks on a trip of a lifetime.... and plans to give these albums to some long term friends to keepsake their stay and time spent with her......I loved creating these albums as these young ladies get to treasure their memories, reflect on and celebrate special events and the time they spend with their special friends....... funky sherbet colours of Basic Grey Gypsy (still one of my fave ranges am always hunting it out) and more vintages but bright vibes of Wild Saffron paperstash for Kay & Co... with all the ecclectic hand embellishments I adore making, thankyou Julia and Bon Voyage and a safe journey to Liv xxx

Little Blessings Albums

Ive had such fun creating my own gratitude album that i am filling with my many Blessings. ive now started to create these three little lovelies with some sweet little saturated canary toppers.....will be completing them during June.

More Little Treasures Albums

I have created a few albums over the last week....inspired by the time of year when families might be planning their 17 &18 year olds move from home into college and uni digs ..... i remember that a year ago.....and also the 'famliness' of fathers day in June. The last 2 albums were put together on Saturday during a 'crafting' sesh with Livvy n Julia ....thankyou once again lovelies x

Adding some finishing touches to two albums in which to store memorabilia and the magic of adventures abroad this year......the new design paper bag album is great for this purpose...it can be crammed with memories....and I stored maps and tickets in the bag envelope enclosures between the pages....i lurve this design of album....

Winter Blessings Album

Have enjoyed using the new paperbag album template to create a sweet album celebrating and savouring the joys of December through to January.Have the pleasure of creating a bespoke album over the next month.
Here are a few photos i will be adding a title to the cover....i like that it celebrates both months as the festive season ends there's the new beginnings of the new year and for me that's as much about transition as it is about a fresh start......x
